VSA Pastoral Update - July 2026

To All Vineyard Pastors and Friends

Hi All,

We hope you are well !

1. Conference 

This is just to encourage you to sign up for the Vineyard SA National Conference 23-26 September in Centurion. 

We have a refreshing line up of speakers and anticipate authentic fellowship. 

This will also serve as our Handover Conference as we celebrate Andrew Christie stepping into the role of National Director. 

Andrew is engaging in preliminary engagements and already adding great value to the movement!

We are particularly encouraging a strong youthful participation in this Conference. Thanks Matt NJ for adding to this!!

2. Fountain Vineyard 

Colleen and I will be handing leadership of Fountain Vineyard to Mark and Taryn Wesson toward the end of the year. They are a choice couple and we will give them as much support as possible. 

We will have a handover period until early in 2027.

3. Vineyard Global Missions Team 

David Ruis has taken over leadership of this ministry along with a team of five continental facilitators that we have helped develop and a network of 160 missional participants in different parts of the world. 

Colleen and I were able to celebrate an excellent conference in Brazil in June comprising South American Vineyard leaders.

4. Encouragement 

Keep Going, Giving and Growing !

We have returned from another exceptionally fruitful Renewal Missions Trip with 39 young people from Fountain Vineyard, Shiloh Vineyard , Victory Vineyard in Qonce, and one from a Vineyard church plant in Mdantsane. 

We traveled in 7 vehicles and ministered to churches, plants and missions in Transkei and KZN over 11 days. The Lord lit fresh fire in many hearts!

5. Stanley and Thabile Gumede 

It was a delight to have Stanley and Thabile Gumede team up with us in this venture. They are serving an internship season at Fountain Vineyard while still overseeing the Shiloh Vineyard in Motherwell.
